Catherine Levy Rooms At Hotel Broadway
Celebrated French designer Catherine Lévy lives and works in Paris as a lifestyle product designer. She came to India for the first time in 1996 and since kept coming back more than once every year. In 2005, she made a book about Indian bazaar items called '100% India'
In 2006, Catherine was asked to redesign the three rooms at Hotel Broadway Delhi - all celebrating joi de vivre of the Indian Bazaar. Catherine loves India and she put together her impression of India into an eclectic décor – part kitsch, part bazaar, celebrating the fact – that Broadway today is best known as home to Chor Bizarre.
The bric-a-brac in the room is unique to the eyes of foreign guests whilst to an Indian guest it may bring in nostalgic memories of old everyday items which one does not really see that much anymore.
